Short overview of Yogya to Surabaya by train for Bromo Ijen tour, then to Bali 3D: Take a train in the morning time or at least at early noon from Yogyakarta or Jogjakarta (Jogja) in Central Java to Surabaya in East Java and meeting with our staff/ your driver or tour guide in Surabaya train station, then drive to Bromo for overnight in Bromo and on the dawn time of next day, you will enjoy a sunrise tours and Mount Bromo climbing. After that, drive to area of Ijen crater for overnight stay before you do Ijen crater tour and see a blue fire tours at midnight till morning time, then you will be escorted to Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi, in the most eastern tip of Java Island to take a ferry and crossing Bali strait to reach Gilimanuk ferry port in Bali Island and then contiune to drive your hotel in Bali as ending point of this trip

Your itinerary

Day 01: Take a train from Jogja to Surabaya, and drive to Bromo

  • Today, you will take a train in the morning or at least at early noon from Jogjakarta or Yogyakarta to Surabaya and you are required to be at train station in Jogja or Yogya at least one hour before departure time. Upon on your arrival in Surabaya train station (Gubeng station) and our staff will fetch you and from here, your holiday adventure for Bromo Ijen tours to Bali Island will be begun with forecast of time table below

  • Take executive train from Jogjakarta or Yogyakarta to Surabaya (Gubeng train station). Arrive in Surabaya train station, our staff will fetch you with your name on placard and drive for about 3-5 hours to reach the accommodation or hotel in Bromo with possibility to stop on the way for getting the public toilet, having meals at local restaurant or maybe you wanna to take the pictures when you found the interesthing place during this trip. Today, you will overnight at the hotel or other accommodation in Bromo area before you enjoy the sunrise tours and do climbing activities to reach peak of Bromo in the next early morning. >>> During your trip today, you maybe can enjoy the optional program of Taman Safari Prigen tours Or do an optional tour program from Jogja to Tumpak Sewu waterfall tours before you enjoy Bromo tour with term and condition 

Day 02: Sunrise tours Bromo - drive for Ijen stay

  • 03.00-04.30: Wake up in the dawn time and using jeep's vehicle to reach the place for seeing the sunrise in Bromo area or enjoy the sunrise tours, where you can choose one of the famous places to see sunrise in Bromo, such as: Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan, Kingkong hill or Bukit Kingkong & Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo

  • 04.30-05.30: Take while your time for a cup of coffee, then seeing the sunrise at a place as like your choice 

  • 05.30-06.00: Driving with jeep for next destination on the slope of Mount Bromo which is as the parking area

  • 06.00-08.00: Crossing the seas of sand on foot or with horse riding (it is as optional for you with distance 10 minutes walking / one way) to reach the bottom area of Bromo where there are more than 250 stairs which will direct you to reach peak of Mount Bromo. Resting for awhile and take the pictures on the top of Mount Bromo with amazing view of the Bromo crater which on the bottom area is spread out the seas of sand or famous with whispering sand and it is bordered with other mountains as natural backgrounds

  • 08.00-10.00: Going back to your hotel or accommodation in Bromo area by passing the same route as you have done for reaching the top of Mount Bromo. Arrived in your hotel, please enjoy your breakfast; take a shower and preparation for leaving Mount Bromo to reach your next destination in Ijen crater area

  • 10.00-17.00: Leaving Mount Bromo to drive for about 5-7 hours (it is depend on situation of the traffic) to reach your accommodation or hotel in Ijen crater area. In this route will pass rural landscape, small cities, rice fields, plantations & beaches. >>> During the trip today, you maybe can enjoy the optional program of Madakaripura waterfall tours with extra cost 

Day 03: Ijen hiking with blue fire tours, then to Bali

  • 00:30 or 01.00 am: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow

  • 02.00-03.30: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen

  • 03.30-05.30: Observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 05.30-07.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach Paltuding base camp 

  • 07.00-10.00: Leaving the Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area

  • 10.00-16.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel to reach Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi and crossing Bali strait for about 1-1.5 hours with a ferry to reach Gilimanuk ferry port in Bali Island without the car/ vehicle and afterward, meet new driver in Bali with his car and then he will escort you for about 4-5 hours drives to reach your hotel which you have booked by your own in Bali Island. >>> During the trip on this day, you maybe can enjoy the optional program of snorkeling tour activities in Tabuhan - Menjangan Island or enjoy the exploring tours Banyuwangi such as: Jagir waterfall tours, Banyuwangi beach tours, Baluran National Park tours and Banyuwangi rafting tours with extra cost
