Your itinerary

Day 01: Bali trip to Ijen crater tours with Banyuwangi area stay

  • Our staff will pick you up either at the airport or hotel in Bali and the best time to start for this trip is in the morning time, but we are ready to fetch you at least at 17 pm (please let us know either your flight number or hotel detail) and we will fetch you to start the trip to reach the ferry port Gilimanuk in the westernmost tip of Bali Island with a private car which is completed with air conditioned.

  • The trip from your place in Bali to Gilimanuk ferry port will go through the small cities, plantations, rice field, beaches & rural landscapes of West Bali which will take for about 3 – 5 hours driving and it is depend on situation of the traffic

  • Upon arrival in Gilimanuk Harbour, we will cross Bali strait with a ferry for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach ferry port in Ketapang - Banyuwangi, East Java. After crossing Bali strait and upon your arrival in Ketapang Harbour, we will escort you directly to your accommodation or hotel around Ijen crater area.

Day 02: Ijen crater tour Banyuwangi with possibility to do the blue fire tours of Ijen crater and back to Bali

  • 00.30-02.00: Leaving from your accommodation in Ijen crater – Banyuwangi area to reach the basecamp of Paltuding for about 1 hour drive. Paltuding is a car park area and also the starting point for the hiking activities around Ijen Volcano and then you will do the climbing activity at Mount Ijen as the following below:

  • 02.00-06.00: The hiking activities till the top of Ijen crater. Upon arrival on the peak of Ijen crater, you will do the milky way observation and if possible - with the Ijen crater officer permits we will see the blue fire tours, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with clearer view (it depends the permits and weather)

  • Afterward, we will view the sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest and see the amazing view of the green acidic lake as natural backgrounds which can make you forget how tired you are after climbing this volcano.

  • 06.00-17.00: Go down by passing the same path to reach the Paltuding and around at 07.30, we will leave the Ijen area to go back to your accommodation for having breakfast, take shower and packing your luggage before you leave the accommodation around at 10.00 am or by the latest at 12.00 pm, and then we’ll continue our trip directly to reach to Ketapang Harbour, Banyuwangi.

  • Afterward, We’ll cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach to Gilimanuk ferry port in Jembrana Regency, Bali. Upon arrival in Gilimanuk Harbour, we will drive to your hotel or any other places in Bali. Ijen tours from Bali has DONE. 

>>> Extra info/ read carefully: If the conditions and weather is NOT possible or it is NOT allowed to do Ijen crater tour with hike activity at night time,- We will do the standard Ijen crater tour without seeing blue fire tours - but it may can still witness the Ijen crater sunrise tours which will be started from your accommodation around at 02.00 am (in the dawn time).- And so on
