Tour itinerary

Day 01: Trip from Malang or Surabaya to Bromo area 

• Our staff will pick you up either at Malang or Surabaya (please let us know where we have to meet you and the best time to start this trip at least at 10 am) and then we drive slowly for 3-4 hours to reach to the parking area in Mount Bromo with a private car which is completed by air conditioned. On this trip, you may stop on way for having meals and drink a cup of coffee or tea at local restaurant or just go to the public toilet.

• Upon your arrival time in Mount Bromo area, we will go to the hotel for check-in process and enjoy your own free program in the hotel nearby with nice view and fresh air surrounding. On this day, you will overnight stay at the hotel before we continue our trip for sunrise Bromo tours in the next morning

Day 02: Tours for sunrise view and Bromo climbing combines with visiting savannah,– then drive to Kalibaru stay (B)

• Wake up in the dawn time (around at 03:00 am) and we will leave the hotel around at 03:30 am to start your trip in Bromo area by using the jeep which will be ready in the parking area of the hotel for tours sunrise which is located on the Tengger region as knwn as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as natural backgrounds. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

• Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend  

• Kingkong hill or Bukit Kingkong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters

• Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

• After enjoy nice view of Bromo and around at 08:00 am, we will continue our trip for about 1-1,5 hours driving by 4WD vehicle/ jeep to reach “the savanna/ teletubies hill” by crossing the seas of sand in Bromo and Tengger region which is bordered by mountains. After a short break & take pictures, we will drive back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower and loading your bags into the vehicle and then we will leave Mount Bromo to continue our trip to reach your accommodation or hotel in Kalibaru highland for about 5-7 hours driving.

• On this route, you will pass the rural landscape, small cities, rice fields, plantations & beaches. Lunch will be served at local restaurant on the way to reach your hotel in Kalibaru & it will be your own expenses. About at late afternoon or in the early evening, we will reach at your hotel in Kalibaru area and then overnight stay

Day 03: Kalibaru plantation tours and drive to Ijen crater stay/ Banyuwangi area (B)

• Having breakfast at your hotel, then around at 08:00, you will have a chance to enjoy eco trip of plantations in Kalibaru area. On this tour's program, you will do short trekking or walking through 09 hectares plantations with varieties of spices such as nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, cloves and coconuts. You may also discover the extraordinary attraction of a traditional making process of palm tree liquid into palm sugar. Not to forget for visiting the dairy farm. The tour can be arranged in the morning and takes about 1 hour until 1.5 hours. 

• Afterward, around at 10:00 am, we will continue our trip for 2 hrs driving to reach your accommodation/ hotel in Banyuwangi area for relaxation and overnight stay before you do a blue fire tours in Ijen crater on the next day. >>> Optional tour program during the trip today: You maybe can enjoy the optional program, such as: the exploring tours Banyuwangi to enjoy the water rafting adventure tours with extra cost 

Day 04: Ijen crater climbing with a blue fire tours,– drive to Sukamade guesthouse (B, L, D)

• 00.30-02.00: Leaving from your accommodation in Ijen crater – Banyuwangi area to reach the base camp of Paltuding for about 1 hour drive. The base camp of Paltuding is as the parking area in Ijen crater which is well known as post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow below:

• 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen crater. Upon your arrival on the top of Ijen crater, doing observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request and if the Ijen crater officer permits, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

• 06.30-10.00: Go down by passing the same path on the slope of Ijen till reach the parking area. And around at 08 am, we will leave the Ijen crater area for go back to your hotel or accommodation for breakfast, take shower and packing your luggage before you leave the accommodation

>>> Note: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed by Ijen crater officer to do night Ijen crater climbing, you can do the regular type of the Ijen crater tour without the blue fire tours which will be started from your accommodation around at 4 am (in the dawn time,- if you decide to do this regular tour) 

• 10.00-18.00: Around at 10.00 am or by the latest at 11.00 am, and then we’ll continue our trip to Sukamade guesthouse. It takes for about 3-4 hours driving by 4WD vehicle/ jeep to reach Sukamade Beach by crossing rain forest and small rivers by our special vehicle adventures. Lunch will be served at local restaurant on the way to reach area of Sukamade Turtle Beach and on this date, you will have dinner & overnight stay at the Guesthouse nearby and return to the beach at night for turtle spotting

  • Sukamade Turtle Beach: Sukamade beach is about 97 km to southwest of Banyuwangi. It is natural and quiet, beautiful place. Dutch discovered it in 1927. The 1200 hectare estate is an active plantation that produces rubber, coffee and cacao. Sukamade is the east Java Natural Resource Conservation which is in charge of the turtle’s perpetuation. A night adventure tour to Sukamade is an unforgettable trip. You will be guided by a natural resource to find sea turtles come to a shore to lay eggs. You can see a female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs on the sandy beach. The female turtles usually start landing at 7:30 PM and return to the sea at 12:00PM.
     
  • How can you reach Sukamade Turtle Beach: We will use jeep (4WD vehicle) to reach this place & the road to Sukamade is worth for the people who want to get the real adventure trip. It is one of best Java adventure trail for exploring southern coast of Banyuwangi. On this trip we will cross the rivers, exploring the rural landscapes & passing rainforest. Along the way to visit this place the visitors can stop at the beautiful place as known as Rajegwesi & the green bay (Teluk Hijau) with its beautiful cliff around. This place is virgin forest with white sandy beach and natural view which is located on the southern tip of Banyuwangi, East Java-Indonesia.
     
  • Accommodation in Sukamade Beach: Condition here is very basic, but more often for the people who visited this place will recommend to others to visit Sukamade Beach when they are in Banyuwangi and sometime, they intend to come back to get an experience exceedingly rare & unique. On this date, you will stay overnight and having dinner at the lodge or guesthouse in Sukamade Beach.

• In the evening time, we will do short trekking to Sukamade turtle beach which accompanies by a National Park officer (a ranger) to do observation the female turtles comes a shore to lay their egg,- and then back to the guesthouse for take a rest and sleep

Day 05: Sukamade turtle beach and drop off to Banyuwangi area (B)

• After dawn time, walking to the beach for releasing baby turtles and enjoy Sukamade beach tour with wide white sandy beach and virgin rainforest surrounding as amazing natural backgrounds. Afterward, back to the guesthouse for breakfast, then spend the morning for exploring the surroundings of Sukamade.

• This is an area of virtually void of people. Go and a dip in crystal clear waters nearby river. Afterward, we leave this area in the early noon to continue our trip to your hotel in Ijen crater Banyuwangi area for about 4-5 hours driving. On this way, you will pass rural landscape, plantations, small cities and rice fields. Upon arrival in Banyuwangi, We will escort you to the ferry port, bus station or other place in Bnayuwangi area.
