Tour itinerary
Day 01: Surabaya or Malang to Bromo hotel
Our staff will pick you up from hotel, airport or train’s station in Surabaya or Malang (please let us know where we have to meet you in Surabaya), then drive to Mount Bromo area with an AC vehicle (a private car specialist for the tourists) for about 3-4 hours. Upon your arrival in Mount Bromo area, we will escort you to the hotel in Mount Bromo area for enjoyable stay.
- Optional tour program today: If you still have time with good weather, during your trip either from Malang or Surabaya to Bromo, you will have a chance to stop on way for visiting Taman Safari Prigen in Pasuruan regency to enjoy Taman Safari Prigen tours OR enjoy White Water Rafting tour in Probolinggo districs OR take Tumpak Sewu waterfall tour package with extra cost
Day 02: Sunrise Bromo tour - drive to Kalibaru hotel
Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo such as:
- Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend
- King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters
- Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill
After a short break & take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo
After a short break & take pictures on the top on Mount Bromo with amazing view of Bromo crater, we will go back to the hotel by passing the same route as your have done to reach to the top of Mount Bromo. Afterward, you will spend your time for breakfast, take shower, loading your luggage in to the vehicle and then we will continue our trip to reach your accommodation or hotel in Kalibaru area for about 5-7 hours driving (it is depend on situation of the traffic) with a private car which is completed by air conditioned . In this route will pass rural landscape, small cities, rice fields, plantations & beaches. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant which is located on your way to reach Kalibaru and cost for your lunch will be your own expenses. Around in the late afternoon or in the evening, we will reach at your hotel or accommodation in Kalibaru area and then overnight stay before you enjoy Plantation Eco Tours Kalibaru in the next morning
- Optional tour program during in Bromo and after Bromo tour: During your trip today, you maybe can enjoy the optional tour programs, such as; Milky way Bromo tours, Bromo savannah tour and Madakaripura waterfall tours (after Bromo tour) with extra cost
Day 03: Kalibaru plantation tours and Ijen hotel stay
Having breakfast at your hotel, and around at 08:00 you will have a chance to enjoy eco trip of plantations in Kalibaru area. On this tour's program, you will do short trekking through 09 hectares plantations with varieties of spices such as nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, cloves and coconuts. You may also discover the extraordinary attraction of a traditional making process of palm tree liquid into palm sugar. If possible, you will have a chance also for visiting the dairy farm. The Kalibaru Plantation Tour can be arranged or started in the morning and it will take about 1 hour until 1.5 hours. Afterward, around at 10:00am, we will continue our trip to Banyuwangi for about 1,5 - 2 hours driving. Today, you will overnight stay in Ketapang Indah Hotel or similar hotel before you enjoy Ijen Trekking & Expedition Tours in the next morning

Day 04: Ijen crater trekking with possibility doing for a blue fire tours then go to Bali
Wake up in the dawn time (around at 04:00 am) and then you will meet with our staff at the lobby of your hotel to drive to reach to the Paltuding by passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining rain forest in Java Island with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel by private car. Paltuding is well known as post 1 (base camp) or starting point for Ijen expedition tour and climbing or trekking tour activities to the slope of Mount Ijen. Arrive in the parking in Paltuding which is located on the slope Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 - 2 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater ( it is depend on the your condition) and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady
Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth.
After enjoyed the natural scenery at Ijen crater and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen via the same path until vehicles parking area in Paltuding base camp where your vehicle is waiting to escort you back to your hotel or accommodation in Ijen crater area or continue our trip to take you out directly to Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island to cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1-1.5 hours to reach to the Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will continue our trip to reach your hotel in Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3-5 hours driving and then your trip from Malang or Surabaya for the Bromo Ijen tour package via Kalibaru plantations finish in your Bali hotel
- Ijen blue fire tours: If the weather is good enough and you are NOT tired, then it is allowed to do night climbing by Ijen officer, you can do ijen blue fire tours and seeing blue fire which will be started from your accommodation around at 00.30 or by the latest at 01.00 am.
