Itinerary of tour package

Day 01: Probolinggo to Bromo tours and sunset view Mentigen hill, then to Ijen crater

  • Today, our staff will fetch you around at 14.00 pm either from hotel, bus station, train station or any place in Probolinggo area and then we will drive slowly for about 1.5 - 2 hours to reach to the parking area in Mount Bromo. Upon your arrival in parking area in Mount Bromo, we will use jeep or 4WD vehicle which will be ready for tourist who want to visit and do Bromo exploring tours, either for sunrise or sunset tour in Bromo area.

  • We will hire jeep rental  with a local people as a driver to continue our trip to reach the slope of Mount Bromo by passing the amazing view which is well known as the seas of sand and it is bordered by the mountains. Bromo National Park is the only conservation area in Indonesia which has the uniqueness of the seas of sand area of 5250 hectares, which is at an altitude of 2392 meters above sea level and it is famous with the whispered sand or local people call it as "Pasir Berbisik". Bromo mountain range is the most active and well-known mountain range as a tourist attraction in East Java – Indonesia 

  • We will stop in the area which is specialist for jeep’s parking in the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is as an optional for you) till you reach to the bottom of Mount Bromo which is as starting point of stairs up (more than 250 stairs) and these will lead you to reach to the peak of Mount Bromo. After a short break and take pictures on the top of Mount with amazing view of Bromo crater, we will go to hotel or restaurant in Bromo area by passing the same routes as you have done to reach peak of Mount Bromo.

  • Afterward, you can spend the time for having meals and drink coffee or tea at the hotel or restaurant which is located in Mount Bromo till time to continue our trip to reach to the Mentigenn hill area to see sunset time which is normally happens at 17:45 - 18:00 pm (it is depend on the weather when you are there). 

  • Please feel free to take your time for the sunset tours in Bromo area and do not forget to take pictures in this area for a proof that you have been in the spectacular place of Mount Bromo as one of the God's creation and around at 19:00 pm, we will leave the Mentigen hill in Bromo area and then we will continue our trip for around 5-7 hours driving to reach the parking area in Ijen crater which is well known as the base camp of Paltuding or as starting point for Ijen crater trekking to do a popular adventure package, such as: the blue fire Ijen tours

Day 02: The blue fire Ijen tours to Ketapang ferry port then to Bali Island 

  • Hoping around at 01:30 am or at least at 02:00 am, we will arrive in the base camp of Paltuding which is located on the bottom area of Mount Ijen as the starting point for Ijen expedition and trekking tours. From this place, we will re-check the trekking equipment, such as: head lamp or flashlight and gas mask. If you do not have any gas mask, you can rent it from the local people or mining worker who always be ready in the parking area of Ijen crater.

  • Do not forget to keep well your stamina, and praying with each other's beliefs or religions before the climbing activities in Mount Ijen. The climbing to Ijen crater will need for about 1.5 – 2.5 hours (it is depend on your stamina) to reach peak of Mount Ijen. If the weather is good enough, you maybe can see the Milky Way from the top of Mount Ijen but you are required to use your Smartphone apps.

  • From the top of Mount Ijen, you will be accompanied by our staff & sulfur mining worker who are expert with the paths on the Ijen crater to descend to reach to the Crater area where the mining worker looking for chunk of sulfur which comes from sulfur liquid that flows through a special pipe which are prepared by them before. The other side, the crater area will display the main attraction for the visitors and it is popular and well known as blue fire or blue flame. The blue fire in Ijen crater is ignited by natural of sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit) and the flames can be up to 5 meters (16 feet) high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited. It is the largest blue flame area in the world and local people refer to it as the blue fire. 

  • After enjoy spectacular view of the blue fire in Ijen crater, we will ascend back to reach top of Ijen crater to see sunrise and afterward, you will see also green lake of sulfur and daily activities of mining worker in Ijen crater with natural backgrounds surrounding.  Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like unforgettable thing.

  • The sulfur mining workers go down into the rim of crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. 

  • After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you out directly to Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island to cross Bali Strait by ferry for about 1-1.5 hours to reach to the Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali Island.

  • Upon arrival in Gilimanuk port, we will continue to drive to Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3 - 4hours and Tour package from Probolinggo to Bromo sunset - blue fire tours Ijen and to Bali has finished.
