Conditions Borobudur and Prambanan tour:
# The visitors have not been allowed to go up to the Borobudur and Prambanan temple. So, you can only reach the temple grounds/yard. For Borobudur temple, this provision is currently being reviewed. At certain periods, we can climb to the top of the temple accompanied by a local tour guide (the temples explanation) and Upanat, - Upanat is the special slipper (sandals) used to climb the structure of Borobudur Temple as a preservation effort to minimize wear and tear on the stone steps.

# Opening hours of Borobudur temple tours is at 07.00 am - 16.30 pm and Prambanan temple until at 18.00 pm. So, we can not visit the Borobudur and Prambanan temples for sunrise tours. Since Monday, January 23 2023, the grounds of Borobudur Temple are open every day. Previously the courtyard was closed every Monday. At 15.00 pm, the Prambanan Temple grounds (zone 1) will be emptied of visitors. However, we are allowed in the park of temples (zone 2) until at 18.00. Every Monday, visitors also cannot enter the Prambanan Temple grounds (zone 1). So, you can only reach the park (zone 2) and you can still watch the temples from the park zone.

# The Prambanan and Borobudur entrance tickets includes local guide (the temples explanation) can be bought with online method (we will inform you detail later). AND based on the updated regulations about to visit both Prambanan and Borobudur temples as stated above. - Then in order you can get the cheaper option to visit these temples to do Prambanan and Borobudur temple tours, - We would like to inform and suggest you the itinerary of your tour package as folow;

Suggestion of your itinerary

Day 01: Pick you up at Yogyakarta area and then Yogya stay

  • Today, our team (driver) will meet you at the Yogyakarta International Airport or other places in Yogyakarta area, - and if there is still time with good weather, you can do the heritage tour in Jogjakarta for visiting: the Sultan Palace Yogyakarta and Water Castle (known as Taman Sari). Afterward, drive to the hotel in Yogyakarta area for overnight stay and enjoy your own program

Day 02: A day tour Jogja to Borobudur and Prambanan temples with shuttle transport  

  • Based on the latest terms to visit both Borobudur and Prambanan temples (Borobudur and Prambanan tours/ after the covid issue). - Then in order you can get the cheaper option to visit these temples above, - We would like to inform and suggest you the itinerary of your tour package to visit Borobudur and Prambanan temples as folow;

  • As each shuttle services will only accommodate 5 people (max for 5 tourist) and the pick up time will be done one by one in each of client accommodations along the way. The shuttle will depart from 05.00 am so please be ready at 04.50 am on the waiting area of your accommodation. The shuttle servicess cannot give the exact time but will assure you that the shuttle transport will pick you up max at 05.30 am.  

  • 05.00: Leave from your accommodation to do experience two of the magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage temples in one day with other traveler to get unforgettable memories with the shuttle services (a shared transport with other tourist). 

  • 06.30 - 09.00: Upon your arrival in parking lot of Borobudur temple, you are required to get main entrance gate of Borobudur temple for check in process (we suggest you to buy the tickets of Borobudur temple in adavance, - with online method). And if you need a local tour guide in Borobudur temple to know the history with the cultural significance of the temples, you can book the official tour guide via online method as well

  • 09.00 - 10.30: During you do the Borobudur temple tours, the driver of shuttle transport will wait you for about 2 hours in the parking area of Borobudur temple. After you spend 2 hours for Borobudur tours, shuttle services will continue the trip to reach the parking lot in Prambanan temple for about 1.5 hrs driving (it depends on traffic situation)

  • 10.30 - 13.00: Upon Upon your arrival in parking lot of Prambanan temple, you are required to get main entrance gate of Prambanan temple for check in process (we suggest you to buy the tickets of Prambanan temple in adavance, - with online method). And if you need a local tour guide in Prambanan temple to know the history with the cultural significance of the temples, you can book the official tour guide via online method as well

  • Prambanan temple consist of 3 diffrent temple complex and the shuttle services will provide enough time for you to explore the temple. Please be advised your exit will take at least 15 minutes as you will pass through the market of gift shops before the main exit gate. The driver of shuttle service will let you know beforehand so that you can be prepared before coming back to the car park where the driver and other passengers will wait for you.

  • 13.00 - 14.30: The shuttle transport will wait you for about 1.5 hrs during your Prambanan temple tours, and around at 13.00 pm - you will leave the parking area in Prambanan temple for journey back to your accommodation within 1 - 1.5 hrs driving (it depends on the traffic situation). Then the Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours has done - today you will overnight stay again on the same hotel/ accommodation in Yogyakarta town area

Day 03: Leave Jogjakarta and trip to Tumpak Sewu waterfall for overnight stay

  • After having early breakfast, we will leave your accommodation in Yogykarta. And if you can not do the Jogjakarta heritage tour on 1st day of the trip,  We will do it for visiting: the Sultan Palace Yogyakarta and Water Castle (known as Taman Sari), we will do it today. Afterward, we will leave Yogyakarta to drive for about 8 – 9 hours to reach to Homestay in area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall. Today, you will arrive in area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall around at late noon or by the latest in the evening time, - having dinner and overnight stay in homestay

Day 04: Tumpak Sewu waterfall tour, then Bromo stay

  • 08.00-12.00: After having breakfast and around at 08.00 am or by the latest at 09.00 am, our staff will be ready at your homestay in Tumpak Sewu area to escort you for Tumpak Sewu adventure and trekking tours in East Java. This day tour will invite and challenge you to visit this most beautiful waterfall in Java Island, when arriving at the gate of the waterfall, you will be invited to do trekking to reach waterfall. We will walk to reach waterfall point for about 30 – 45 minutes by descending cliff and crossing river. Exploring the waterfall and enjoy the beautiful view with natural backgrounds surrounding. Take your time for photo in this place, since this place is one of the best waterfall falls in East Java – Indonesia.

  • Tumpak Sewu waterfall is considered as the most beautiful waterfall on the Java Island and even throughout Indonesia, has a unique formation resembling a widened curtain, looks beautiful and perfect when viewed from a height place. Tumpak Sewu waterfall has a height of approximately 120m and located at an altitude of 500mdpl, the flow of water is swiftly sourced from Mount Semeru, the highest mountain in Java. Local community known this waterfall as Coban Sewu, administratively located in Lumajang district but bordering Malang Regency. This day tour will invite and challenge you to visit this most beautiful waterfall in Java, when arriving at the gate of the waterfall, you will be invited to do trekking for approximately 30 – 45 minutes to reach waterfall. You will spend your adventure trip in Tumpak Sewu waterfall by the latest till at 12 pm  

  • 12.00-17.00: After enjoy adventure trekking tours in Tumpak Sewu waterfall with amazing view in Tumpak Sewu waterfall; we will continue our trip for about 4-5 hours driving to reach your accommodation or hotel in Mount Bromo area. Upon your arrival in Bromo area, we will escort you to the hotel for check-in process and then overnight stay, before you do sunrise tours and Bromo climbing activities in the next morning

Day 05: Sunrise viewing and Bromo tour, - then Ijen crater stay

  • Wake up in the early morning (around at 03:30 am / in the dawn time) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

  • Pananjakan viewpoint is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend
     
  • King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on the weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters
     
  • Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

  • After a short break & take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo. 

  • After a short break and take pictures, we will go back to hotel for taking a bath, having breakfast and enjoy your own free program at hotel area with nice view and fresh air surrounding till time to continue our trip to reach to the Hotel in Ijen crater area for about 5-7 hours driving. In this route will pass rural landscape, small cities, rice fields, plantations & beaches. Lunch will be served on the way at local restaurant. About at late afternoon or in the early evening, we will reach at your hotel in area of Ijen Crater then overnight stay before you enjoy Ijen Crater Trekking on the next morning. >>> Optional tour program during the trip today: You maybe can enjoy the optional program, such as: Savannah Bromo tour, Madakaripura waterfall tour OR Bromo water rafting with extra cost 

Day 06: Ijen crater climbing tour with possibility to do a blue flame tours, and then to Bali 

  • 00:30 or 01.00 am: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow 

  • 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen for about 2-2.5 hours. Observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 06.00-10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach the Paltuding base camp. Then, leaving the Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, and take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area

  • 11.00-17.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel to reach Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi and crossing Bali strait for about 1-1.5 hours with a ferry to reach Gilimanuk ferry port in Bali Island. Upon  arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will drive to your hotel in Bali as the last destination of your trip, such as: Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3 - 4 hours and our services finished for Java Bali holiday trip has finished. >>> Optional tour program during the trip today: You maybe can enjoy the optional program, such as: Jagir waterfall tour, Menjangan snorkelling tour and amazing Bali Island tour with extra cost

  • Note: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed to do night climbing, you can do the standard Ijen crater tours without seeing blue fire which will be started from your accommodation after at 2 am.
