Tour itinerary

Day 01: Malang or Surabaya to hotel in Ijen crater area

Our staff will meet you at hotel, train’s station or airport in Malang or Surabaya (best time to start your trip is before at 12:00PM/ noon time) and then escort you to the small town where Ijen crater located. The journey takes approximately 7-9 hours driving with private car with air conditioned, and possible stops en route for having lunch at local restaurant.
On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, small cities, plantations, rainforest and beaches. Upon your arrival in area of Ijen crater, we will escort you directly to Hotel or guesthouse/ homestay for stay overnight before enjoy Ijen crater hiking tour on the next morning. >>> Optional tour program during the trip today: If you still have time with good weather, you maybe can enjoy the optional program, such as: visiting and do Baluran National Park tour with extra cost

Day 02: Ijen tour - Ketapang ferry port and to Bali

00.30: Leaving from your accommodation in Ijen crater – Banyuwangi area and then drive to reach the base camp of Paltuding for about 1 hour drive. The base camp of Paltuding is as the parking lot in Ijen crater which is well known as post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the climbing activities in Ijen crater and then you will do climbing tours in Ijen crater as follow
02.00 - 06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen. Observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request (conditional), we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater
06.00 - 10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Mount Ijen till reach the base camp of Paltuding. Leaving from Ijen crater area and going back to your accommodation or hotel. During our way back to your accommodation, you can stop for visiting Jagir waterfall of it is well known as mini Niagara waterfall - Banyuwangi as your bonus trip (it is conditional).
10.00 – 12.00: Then, when you arrived at your accommodation, please enjoy your breakfast, take shower and packing your luggage before you leave the accommodation by the latest at 12.00 pm, and then we’ll continue our trip directly to reach to Ketapang ferry port which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island. We’ll cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach to Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali Island.
Upon arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will drive to your hotel in Bali as the last destination of your trip, such as: Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3 - 4 hours and our services finished for Java Bali holiday trip has finished. >>> Optional tour program during the trip today: If you still have time with good weather, you will have a chance to do optional tour programs such as: Jagir waterfall tour/ twin waterfall tour, Amazing lakes and waterfall tours in Bali OR Snorkeling tour Menjangan Island in West Bali with extra cost

*** Note: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed to do night climbing, you can do the basic/ standard Ijen crater tour without doing the blue fire tour - and no seeing the blue flame in Ijen crater, then the Ijen tour package will be started from your accommodation around after at 2 am.
