Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Jogjakarta to Surabaya by a train and do Malang city tour,- overnight stay

  • Today, you are required to be at train station in Jogja or Yogyakarta by the latest one hour before departure time to take morning train from Jogja or Yogyakarta to Surabaya train station and upon arrival time at train station in Surabaya, our staff will meet you by your name on placard. 

  • And then we will continue our trip with a private car which completes with air conditioned to enjoy for short sightseeing tours in Malang town/ city or just buy some foods for your lunch and then continue for driving to reach your hotel either in Malang or Batu for relaxation and overnight stay before you enjoy the Paragliding tours activities in Batu highland in the next morning

Day 02: Paragliding tours activities in Batu and drive to Ijen crater hotel

  • On this day, after having breakfast or around at 08:00 - 08:30 am, our staff will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and we will drive to the place for the paragliding adventure tours activities in Batu highland. For those of you who feel challenged to perform an unusual sport, here you will be challenged to feel the sensation of flying like an eagle amid the clouds or for those of you who want to enjoy the view of the Batu highland from the different angles and want to take photographs as well from the sky , you will might consider for doing this tour activities which will be provided with variety of tour package options for paragliding tandem with the crew who has many years experience to accompany the tourist either from abroad or Indonesia

  • After enjoy the paragliding adventure tour activities, we will continue our trip to reach your hotel or accommodation in Ijen crater area with a private car / vehicle which completes with air conditioned and this trip will take for about 7 - 9 hours (it depends on the traffic situation) with possible to stop en route for having lunch at local restaurant which is located on the road banks. 

  • On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, small city, plantations, rainforest and beaches. Upon your arrival in Ijen crater area, we will escort you to the hotel as your choice, such as at Ijen Resort and Villas, Ketapang Indah Hotel, Ijen View Hotel, Santika Hotel Banyuwangi or similar hotel for overnight stay before you do hiking trail with possibility to do a blue fire tours in Ijen crater on the next day

Day 03: Ijen crater climbing with a blue fire tours – Banyuwangi and drive to Bromo stay

  • 00.30-02.00: Leaving from your accommodation in Ijen crater – Banyuwangi area to reach the base camp of Paltuding for about 1 hour drive. The base camp of Paltuding is as the parking area in Ijen crater which is well known as post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow below:

  • 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen crater. Upon your arrival on the top of Ijen crater, doing observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request and if the Ijen crater officer permits, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 06.30-10.00: Go down by passing the same path on the slope of Ijen till reach the parking area. And around at 08 am, we will leave the Ijen crater area for go back to your hotel or accommodation for breakfast, take shower and packing your luggage before you leave the accommodation

  • 10.00-18.00: Around at 10.00 am or by the latest at 12.00 pm, and then we’ll continue our trip to your hotel/ accommodation in Mount Bromo area for about 6 - 7 hours and it depends on traffic situation. And today, you will overnight at hotel of Mt Bromo area, such as; Jiwa Jawa Resort Bromo, Café Lava Bromo, SM Hotel Bromo, Bromo Permai Hotel, Lava View Lodge Bromo or similar hotel in Bromo area before you enjoy sunrise bromo tours in next morning  >>> Optional tour program during the trip today: You maybe can enjoy the optional program, such as: the exploring tours Banyuwangi to enjoy the Baluran National Park tours with extra cost 

>>> Note: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed by Ijen crater officer to do night Ijen crater climbing, you can do the regular type of the Ijen crater tour without the blue fire tours which will be started from your accommodation around at 4 am (in the dawn time,- if you decide to do this regular tour) 

Day 04: Sunrise view tours and Bromo climbing, then drive to Surabaya or Malang 

  • Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

  • Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend  

  • King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters

  • Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

  • After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is as your optional) till reach to the stairs up and it is more than 250 stairs which is located on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo.

  • After enjoy nice view in Mount Bromo and around at 08:00, we will escort you back to the hotel for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then we will continue our trip to escort you to Surabaya or Malang for about 3-4 hours driving as last destination for this tour package
