Tour itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Malang or Surabaya to Bromo Hotel 

  • Our staff will pick you up from train’s station, airport or hotel in Malang or Surabaya (please let us know where we have to meet you), then drive to Mount Bromo area with an AC vehicle tourist standard for about 3 - 4 hours.

  • Upon your arrival time in Mount Bromo area, we will escort you to the hotel or other type accommodation for overnight stay at the Hotel Bromo which is located in the Bromo National Park area before you enjoy sunrise view and Bromo tours on the next morning. >>> During your trip today, if you still have time with good weather, you can do optional tour programs, such as: Taman Safari Prigen tours or Madakaripura Waterfall tours with extra cost

Day 02: Sunrise view and Bromo tours - water rafting adventure, then to Tumpak Sewu stay  

  • Wake up in the early morning (around at 03:30 am in the dawn time) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind and heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

  • Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend  

  • King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters

  • Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

  • After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo to see the spectacular view of Bromo Crater

  • After a short break and take pictures on the top of Mount Bromo, around at 07:30 am we will go back to hotel by passing the same routes as your have done and when you arrived in your hotel or accommodation in Bromo, you will spend your time for taking a bath, breakfast and loading your luggage into the vehicle, and then we will continue our trip for about 1.5 – 2 hours driving to reach the place for water rafting adventure tours in Probolinggo Regency. On this trip we will pass rural landscape, small cities, plantations, hills and rice fields.

  • Upon arrival time in the place of water rafting activities, you will do water rafting tours in the Songa River and the rafting will be done for about 3 hours which is included to enjoy lunch on this place. The water rafting activities will provide you the real adventure trip with nice view on river banks of the River, Probolinggo – East Java.

  • After enjoyed water rafting activities and around in the afternoon, we will continue our trip to escort you to the Tumpak Sewu waterfall area for about 3-4 hours driving by passing small town, villages and plantations. On this day, you will overnight at the homestay which is located in area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall 

Day 03: Tumpak Sewu waterfall tour and drop off to Malang or Surabaya

  • 08.00-12.00: After having breakfast and around at 08.00 am or by the latest at 09.00 am, our staff will be ready to escort you to the parking area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall as our next destination for our journey adventure in East Java. Upon your arrival in the parking area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall, we will walk to reach waterfall point for about 30 – 45 minutes by descending cliff and crossing river. Exploring the waterfall and enjoy the beautiful view with natural backgrounds surrounding. Take your time for photo in this place, since this place is one of the best waterfall falls in East Java – Indonesia.

  • Tumpak Sewu waterfall is considered as the most beautiful waterfall on the Java Island and even throughout Indonesia, has a unique formation resembling a widened curtain, looks beautiful and perfect when viewed from a height place. Tumpak Sewu waterfall has a height of approximately 120m and located at an altitude of 500mdpl, the flow of water is swiftly sourced from Mount Semeru, the highest mountain in Java. Local community known this waterfall as Coban Sewu, administratively located in Lumajang district but bordering Malang Regency. This day tour will invite and challenge you to visit this most beautiful waterfall in Java, when arriving at the gate of the waterfall, you will be invited to do trekking for approximately 30 – 45 minutes to reach waterfall. You will spend your adventure trip in Tumpak Sewu waterfall by the latest till at 12 pm  

  • 12.00-17.00: After enjoy adventure trekking tours with amazing view in Tumpak Sewu waterfall; we will continue our trip to escort you back to Surabaya for about 4-5 hours OR to Malang for 2.5 - 3 hours driving. And then, - your holiday tour package in East Java with our team has DONE
