Tour itinerary

Day 01: Surabaya or Malang to Mt Bromo stay

  • Our staff will pick you up from hotel, airport or train’s station in Surabaya or Malang (please let us know where we have to meet you in Surabaya), then drive to Mount Bromo area with an AC vehicle tourist standard for about 3-4 hours (depends on the traffic situation). On this trip you can may ask to your driver stop for getting public toilet or stop at local restaurant for having meals and drink coffee or tea. Upon your arrival in Mount Bromo area, we will escort you to the hotel in Bromo area for overnight stay before you continue our trip on the next day for a sunrise view and Bromo tours

Day 02: Sunrise view and Bromo tours,- then drive to Sukamade Guesthouse (B, L, D) 

  • Wake in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

  • Mount Panajakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend  

  • Kingkong hill or Bukit Kingkong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters

  • Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

  • After a short break & take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mount Bromo.

  • Afterward around at 08:00 am, we will drive back to your hotel for having breakfast, take shower, packing and loading the bags into the vehicle and then we will continue our trip for about 8-9 hours driving (it is depend on situation of the traffic) to reach to the village which is located nearest to Sukamade beach and this village is called with Pesanggaran. Lunch will be served at local restaurant which is located on the bank of road to reach this village. 

  • And then from this village we will change our car / vehicle and use a 4WD vehicle or jeep trooper to continue our trip to reach the Guesthouse in area of Sukamade turtle reserve which is located in the Meru Betiri National Park for about 1-1,5 hours driving by crossing plantations, rain forest, small villages and the rivers. Tonight, you will overnight stay and enjoy dinner at the guesthouse of Sukamade beach area and return to the beach at night for turtle come ashore and laying their eggs on the wide beach of Sukamade

  • Sukamade Turtle Beach: Sukamade Turtle Beach: Sukamade beach is about 97 km to southwest of Banyuwangi. This place is one nature reserve with quiet surrounding. Dutch has discovered it in 1927,- the 1200 hectare estate is an active plantation that produces rubber, coffee and cacao. Sukamade is a Natural Resource Conservation which is in charge of the turtle’s perpetuation in East Java.

  • A night adventure tours to Sukamade beach is an unforgettable trip. You will be guided by a ranger OR Natural Resource Conservation officer to find the female sea turtles comes  ashore to lay eggs. If you are lucky enough, you will see a female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs on the wide sandy beach. The female turtles usually start landing at 7:30 PM and return to the sea at 12:00 PM.

  • Accommodation in Sukamade: The condition here is very basic and quiet,- the facility is very simple and the electricity will be turned on at 17 pm and will turned off at 05 am, but more often for the people who visited this place will recommend to others to come to this place / Sukamade beach,- Then Sometime they intend to come again to get an experience exceedingly unique and rare on their life. Tonight, you will stay overnight and having dinner at the lodge or guesthouse of Sukamade 

  • How can you reach the turtle beach of Sukamade: We will use jeep (4WD vehicle) to reach this place and the road to Sukamade is worth for the people who claim as natural lover and want to get the real of adventure trip. It is one of the best adventure trail and natural lover tours in Java Island for exploring southern coast of Banyuwangi. Crossing the rivers, exploring rural landscapes,  passing rainforest and along the way to visit this place the visitors can stop at the beautiful place as known as Rajegwesi and the green bay (Teluk Hijau) with its beautiful cliff around.

  • Here, also you will have a chance for short excursion in afternoon time to see animals on the savanna with extra cost for a ranger (it is as optional program). The turtle beach of Sukamade is one of the long beach with white sandy which is bordered by virgin rain forest with natural view which is located on the southern tip of Banyuwangi, East Java - Indonesia.

Day 03: Sukamade turtle beach tours,- and drive to ferry port then to Bali (B)

  • After dawn time, you will do short trekking and Sukamade beach tours for releasing the baby turtles with the wide white beach and virgin rainforest surrounding as natural backgrounds. Afterward, back to the Guesthouse for breakfast and then enjoy your morning time  for exploring the surroundings of Sukamade. This is an area of virtually void of people,- Go and a dip in crystal clear waters nearby river.

  • Afterward, we leave this area in the early noon to continue our trip to reach to Ketapang ferry port Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island and this trip will take for about 4-5 hours driving. On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, plantations, small cities and rice fields.

  • Upon arrival in Ketapang ferry port, we will take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1-1.5 hours to reach to  Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival in Gilimanuk port, we will continue to drive to Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3-4 hours and Tour Package has finished
