Itinerary of Tour Package

Day 01: Traveling from Bali to Bromo hotel and overnight stay

  • Around at 08:00 – 09:00 am, our staff will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Bali (Please let us know your hotel detail and which time are you prever to start this trip) and then, we will start your tour package of overland Java Bali trip for about 3 - 4 hours driving by a private car which is completed by air conditioned to reach to the ferry port in Gilimanuk which is located in the most western tip of Bali Island. Afterward, we will take a ferry for about 1 - 1.5 hours to reach to the ferry port in Ketapang - Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island.

  • Upon arrival in Ketapang ferry port, we will continue our trip to reach to your accommodation in Mount Bromo area. The trip from Ketapang ferry port to Mount Bromo will take normally 5-7 hours (it is depend on the situation of traffic), but you can spend more time to stop on your way for having meals at the local restaurant which is located nearby beach. Upon your arrival time in Bromo area, we will escort you to stay at Jiwa Jawa Bromo Resort for the clients who wanna get the luxury accommodation in Bromo or stay the Lava View Lodge or similar hotel for the clients who wanna overnight at hotel with cheaper price, but the hotel has nice view in Bromo area. On this day, you will overnight at Bromo hotel before enjoy the Bromo savanna and sunset tours in the next morning

Day 02: Visiting Bromo caldera and savanna then doing sunsets tour at Mentigen hill

  • After having breakfast at your hotel in Bromo area, you will be picked up by our staff  and we will use jeep to bring you to reach the jeep's parking lot which is located on the bottom of Mt. Bromo by passing the amazing view, such as:  seas sand which is bordered by Mountains in Tengger area, then from jeep's parking lot,  you are required to cross seas sand of Mt. Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach the starting point to trek up of Mount Bromo by following more than 250 stairs which it will lead you to reach peak of Mount Bromo.

  • After enjoy nice view on the peak of Bromo with spectacular view of the Bromo crater, then we descend from the top of Mt Bromo to reach back jeep's parking lot by passing the same route as you have done. Afterward, we will continue our trip for about 45 minutes - 1 hour driving by 4WD vehicle/ jeep to reach “the savanna/ teletubies hill” by crossing the seas sand in Tengger region which it is bordered by other mountains and hills. After a short break and take pictures in the savanna area, we will go back to the hotel for relaxation, take a rest in hotel area and at late afternoon (around at 16:40 pm), we will escort you to the Mentigen hill to see sunsets time, then we will escort you back to the Hotel for overnight stay. 

Day 03: Drive from Bromo to Ijen crater area for overnight stay 

  • After having breakfast at Hotel in Bromo area, we will leave Mount Bromo to continue our trip to reach your hotel in Ijen crater area for about 6-7 hours driving by passing small town, villages, rural landscape, plantations, hills and rice fields. Upon arrival in area of Ijen crater, you will stay at hotel before you do climbing tour in Ijen crater in the next morning. >>> During your trip today, if you still have enough time with good weather, you will have a chance to do optional tour programs, such as: Madakaripura waterfall tours Or Bromo water rafting tour with extra cost  

Day 04: Ijen blue fire tours, then drive back to Bali  

  • Around at 04:30 in the morning, our staff will meet you and drive to reach to the Licin village, then continue to the slope of Mount Ijen which is well-known as camping ground of Paltuding or post 1 to start trekking to Ijen Crater. On this road, you will pass through plantations and rainforest which is one of the few remaining rainforest in Java Island with many species of plants, big trees and giant ferns.

  • This journey takes approximately 1 hour driving by private car from your hotel and it is depend on the hotel location. Arrive in the parking area of Mount Ijen, approximately 1.5 until 2.5 hours will be required for ascending the slope of mount Ijen to reach to the peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the green lake of sulfate which reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like  as engraving life for the local people who get a job with high risk as a sulfur mining in Ijen crater.

  • The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing the dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job, but they but they survive for this job in order their family's life can be fulfilled even with they do a dangerous job. So, that why sometime we will use them to be a local tour guide in Ijen Crater in order it can be their side income and the other side, we need them since they are familiar and expert with the path in Ijen Crater

  • Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ijen Crater as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoyed the natural scenery at crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to your hotel in Ijen crater area or continue directly to the ferry port in Ketapang of Banyuwangi to cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1-1.5 hours to reach to the ferry port in Gilimanuk in the most western tip of Bali Island.

  • Upon arrival in Gilimanuk port, we will continue to drive to your hotel Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3-4 hours and tour package of Bali to Bromo savanna – sunset and Ijen tours has finished. >>> During your trip today, if you still have time with good weather, you will have a chance to do optional tour programs, such as: Jagir waterafll tour, snorkeling tours in Menjangan Island OR Amazing Bali holiday package from Java Island with extra cost

Note for Ijen blue fire tours: If the weather is good enough and the Ijen night climbing is allowed by Ijen officer, you can visit Ijen crater at night time which will be started from your hotel / accommodation in Ijen area around at 00:30 am to do Ijen blue fire tours. The blue fire is ignited sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit). Those gases are directly originated from the magmatic chamber under the volcano.
 
The flames can be up to 5 meters high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited. It is the largest blue flame area in the world and one of the purest sulfur mines.  If you are lucky enough, you can observe the Milky Way by using Smartphone apps in Ijen crater area during you do the ijen blue fire tours and this trip will be combined with the viewing of sunrise in Ijen crater area.
