Tour itinerary

Day 01: Bali to Ijen crater area for overnight stay 

• Our staff will pick you up either at the airport or your hotel in Bali (please let us know detail either your flight number or your hotel in Bali) and we will start your trip to reach to the Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali for about 3 – 5 hours driving (it is depend on the situation of traffic) with a private car which is completed with airconditioned, and on arrival time in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will proceed to take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island. The trip from your place in Bali to Gilimanuk ferry port will go through the small cities, plantations, ricefield, beaches and rural landscapes of West Bali.

• After crossing Bali strait and on your arrival time in Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi, we will escort you directly to your accommodation or hotel in Ijen crater area or if you still enough time with good weather before we reach to the your hotel or accommodation in Ijen crater area, you will have a chance to do one of optional tour programs in Banyuwangi (the exploring tour Banyuwangi) with extra cost  and then on this day, you will overnight stay at hotel or accommodation in Ijen crater area before you enjoy for Mount Ijen trekking with possibility you can do the Ijen blue fire tours as well which will be started at midnight time. >>> During your trip from Bali to Ijen crater today, if the weather is good - you will have a chance to do optional tour program for Snorkelling tour in Menjangan Island  which is located in the area of West Bali National Park with extra cost

Day 02: Ijen climbing with possibility to do Ijen blue fire tour then to Bromo for overnight stay

• Around at 03:00 am, our team will meet you at the lobby of your hotel/ accommodation to drive to reach to the Paltuding post by passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining rain forest in Java Island with giant ferns, plants and big trees. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel by private car. Paltuding is well known as post 1 (base camp) or starting point for Ijen expedition tour and climbing or trekking tour activities to the slope of Mount Ijen.

• Arrive in the parking in Paltuding which is located on the slope Mount Ijen, approximately 2 until 2.5 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater ( it is depend on the your condition) and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air and shady. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like amazing view.

• The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.  This is really a dangerous and hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth.

• After enjoyed the natural scenery in Ijen crater and then around at 05:30 - 06:00 am you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area in the base camp of Paltuding where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to your accommodation in Ijen crater area or we will continue our trip directly to reach your accommodation in Mount Bromo area for about 5-7 hours driving with a private car (it is depend on the situation of traffic). Upon arrival in Bromo, you will stay either in Lava View Lodge, Café Lava Bromo, Bromo Permai or similar hotel where located on the rim of tengger region for enjoyable stay, before you enjoy Bromo sunrise tours in the next morning

Day 03: The sunrise view and Bromo tour package then take a train to Yogyakarta   

• Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind and heart as one of the best God's creation. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo such as:

• After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo.

• After a short break and take pictures on the top on Mount Bromo with amazing view of Bromo crater, we will go back to the hotel by passing the same route as your have done to reach to the top of Mount Bromo. Afterward, you will spend your time for breakfast, take shower, loading your luggage in to the vehicle and then we will continue our trip to transfer you out the Probolinggo train station to take a train leaving for Yogyakarta in Central Java at 15:41 – 23:47 pm
