Arrive at Tambolaka airport and meet with your driver who will escort you to your accommodation. After lunch drive to the traditional Sumbanese village of Ratenggaro. See how the Sumbanese live in the traditional local houses here, which are unique compared to the traditional houses in Indonesia.
Ratenggaro comes from the word “Rate” which means grave and “Garo” which means Garo people. Ratenggaro has a Garo tomb and around the village, there are 304 old stone tombs.
Next, head to Bawana Beach. The drive is along a bumpy sandy dusty road with wonderful surrounding views. Once you have arrived, walk down the rocky path for 5 minutes to the smooth sandy beach with the iconic large hollow arc.
Spend time enjoying the picturesque views from Bawana Beach. Return to the car and head to Tanjung Mareha, a tiny sliver of land that juts out into the ocean. Here, you will watch the sunset from one of the most stunning locations on this island. Overnight in Sima Hotel Tambolaka or similar.

Wake up early and after breakfast get ready to explore one of the most beautiful sites of West Sumba. Angel’s Lake (Weekuri Lake) is a salted lake where the water comes out from the hole connected to the ocean.
At Weekuri Lake, you can swim in or play with the water and go cliff jumping where the water is deep enough. Continue your journey to Mandorak Beach, which is a small white sandy beach a 5-minute drive from Weekuri Lake. Be amazed by the clear blue water and surrounding cliffs.
There is a comfortable gazebo on top of the reef where you can relax and enjoy the view. Walk along the soft cream-colored beach sand and admire the clarity of the water.

Wake up early in the morning and after breakfast prepare to catch your flight back. A private transfer from the hotel to Tambolaka Airport will be arranged for you.
